GOD IS NOT FINISHED WITH YOU YET

"Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus" [Philippians 1:6]

God loved you, chose you, drew you, enlightened you, and saved you --- and He is not finished with you yet. God desires that your foremost pursuit would be your deepening relationship with Jesus Christ. Purpose and passion, peace and contentment would then characterize your life.

Do you recall how the Holy Spirit gave the apostles joy even while they were enduring hardships and imprisonment? How David was comforted by God while He was running away from King Saul or from Hid enemies? The same comfort and joy is actually available to you whatever your present circumstances.

Another one of God's desires for you is to bring you into the center of His activity according to His plans and His purpose for your life. All we have to do is to stand before Him with a heart of ready obedience. After all, God alone knows what you will become as you serve Him according to plan.

God knows you, and He sees your value. God sees us with eyes of a Father. He sees our defects, errors, and blemishes. But He also sees our value.

What did Jesus Christ know that enabled Him to do what He did? He was about to face a painful suffering and a horrible death all for mankind --- for you and for me. What was it that He saw?

Here’s the answer: He knew the value of people. He knew that each human being is a treasure. And because He did, to Him people were not a source of stress but a source of joy. He was fulfilling God’s plan for eternity. A plan that involves us --- spending eternal joy with God forever. And Jesus Christ wouldn't want any of His sheep lost into eternal darkness. Long before you came into being, He saw you.

Be encouraged to know that God continues to be at work in you. The challenge you face is to walk with Him and to completely release your self to His will. You can trust your day-to-day life ---- as well as your eternal future --- to Him.

Whatever and however your life is here on earth, for as long as you live, remember that God is with you and would always want you to be with Him. Keep walking, God is not finished with you yet... Until you are in His arms, forever.
